It's difficult to get motivated so...Hi Vivian,<br /><br />It's difficult to get motivated sometimes, especially when there is so much delicious opposition everywhere. <br /><br />I recommend setting specific goals, i.e. "I'm going to lose five pounds before January 1st." Make sure the goal is measurable, reachable, has a set date, and that you know the smaller steps it will take to get there. If it helps, set up a reward system so you have something to look forward to besides greater energy and weight loss. It has definitely helped me. <br /><br />I recently joined sparkpeople.com. Keeping track of what I eat and how much I exercise helps a lot. If you join, (anybody!) let me know and I'll add you as a friend. It's free, but keeping track does take a bit of time.<br /><br />Sometimes deciding to change is the hardest part.
